Since I left high school, I have been fortunate to work with and for a variety of prominent brands in South Africa and internationally. Through sponsorships and professional experience, I have gained valuable exposure to diverse industries and projects.
My career journey included roles at Volkswagen South Africa (VWSA) and ThyssenKrupp, as well as sponsorships from the Motsepe Foundation and VWSA. In 2025, I joined Ogilvy South Africa, a leading advertising agency, as a Data Science Trainee where I contributed to campaigns for numerous brands partnering with Ogilvy for their advertising needs.
One of my ongoing projects is with Brand South Africa, where my primary responsibility is website tagging and tracking. I develop Tag Implementation Plans in Excel, create tags and triggers in Google Tag Manager, publish data to Google Analytics, and design dashboards in Looker Studio. This enables me to provide Brand South Africa with detailed insights into their website performance, along with recommendations to enhance SEO.
For Audi South Africa, I collaborated closely with the Product Manager overseeing the local market. My role involved optimizing the sub-navigation bar on their website to improve user experience, as well as adding relevant information and links to the Local News page.
At Ogilvy South Africa, I have been entrusted with a year-long project to ideate, design, and develop a minimum viable prototype for Vodacom. If successful, this concept could evolve into a major campaign or initiative for the brand. I have been part of a creative team that conceptualized the KFC x Nasty C burger, scheduled for launch in November 2025 as a limited summer edition offering.
In addition to my agency work, I engage in a side hustle as an AI Trainer for Outlier, a remote opportunity that has significantly enhanced my technological skills and broadened my expertise in AI applications.
